Link to Video Evaluation This video, while made under a small time budget, was somehow more compelling to me than the whole of the last video project we tried.The main strengths of this video I would say are the big vibrant facial expressions from Dan that really exaggerate his performance and give the video a similarity to the German Expressionist style. I also considered using double exposure in my long shot of the group to combines the Lumiere brother's fixed camera capturing life and the more complex edited expressionist type of film that fits more to Melies. To improve, we could have perhaps considered more fitting music that suited the time however we thought that music that suited the look of the video would be stronger and follow the narrative better.
